Instagram CEO hints at video sharing

Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom spoke at TechCrunch Disrupt in Beijing last week, and hinted that video sharing would be coming soon to the popular mostly iOS-driven photo sharing service. “We really want to go after something bigger than filtered photos,” he said, explaining that the service really wanted to let users share their entire lives, not just photos.

Shutterstock Releases Free iPad App But Does It Deliver?

The popular photo company, Shuttstock, has just released an app for iPads. However what good is an app that does not support download? One must save the photo and download it later via a computer?

As a publisher I want to be able to drag and drop images directly on my iPad. If you do not support that I simply cannot support you.

How about you? How are you using and manipulating photo images n your iPad?

Unlike Show Time or HBO, though, no one speaks in the Looking Glass videos. Budke says that’s an asset, making the content open to children all around the world. He says there have been early concentrations of interest in China and Brazil.

Who is he kidding? This is one of the main reasons that reviewers feel the app misses the mark! This is 2011 and kids are savvy when it comes to content!

At least use English audio! It is after all the most spoken language…and it might help your app might get off the ground.
